Dalmatian Coast

Limestone towns, island ferries and clear Adriatic swimming.

Dalmatia is made for a route: stone cities, ferry mornings, pine-backed coves and islands close enough to keep the journey fluid. The trick is to let the coast breathe instead of turning it into a checklist.

Timing

When to go

Late spring and early autumn are ideal for old-town wandering and island transfers without the full summer rush. High summer belongs to the water: ferries, swim stops and dinners outside after the stone has cooled.
