Amalfi Coast

Lemon terraces, vertical villages and the sea far below.

The Amalfi Coast is all height and light: stone steps, ceramic signs, cliff roads, terrace lunches and water so blue it feels staged. It rewards travelers who plan less mileage and more lingering.

Timing

When to go

Late spring and September keep the coastline warm without turning every transfer into an event. In high summer, the best rhythm is early starts, boat time by midday and shaded dinners once the cliff villages cool down.
